Crizac Expands Reach with Acquisition of Inova Education to Strengthen Mexico and Europe Presence
Crizac has agreed to acquire Inova Consultancy Limited, known as Inova Education, to expand its student recruitment operations in Mexico and Europe. The deal includes Inova's recruitment platform, university partnerships, and business infrastructure, marking Crizac's entry into the Netherlands as a destination market. The acquisition aligns with Crizac's strategy to invest in quality partnerships and international growth, following its previous acquisition of Studies Planet in 2025.
Crizac has announced a strategic move to acquire 100% of Inova Consultancy Limited, known as Inova Education, in a deal aimed at expanding its student recruitment operations in Mexico and Europe. The acquisition, conducted through Crizac’s subsidiary Crizac Ltd, includes Inova’s recruitment platform, university partnerships, commercial contracts, and operational infrastructure. Inova will continue to operate independently under Crizac’s ownership, leveraging its established presence in Mexico and relationships with universities in the UK and the Netherlands. ## Strengthening Market Presence This acquisition marks Crizac’s entry into the Netherlands as a destination market, enhancing its ability to facilitate student recruitment from Mexico into the country and broader Europe. Vikash Agarwal, chairman and managing director of Crizac, emphasized the company’s commitment to quality partnerships and sustainable international growth. He highlighted Mexico and the Netherlands as increasingly important markets in global education, noting that the deal would strengthen Crizac’s ability to connect institutions and students across these regions. Crizac’s expansion strategy includes moving beyond recruitment into areas such as education finance and other student services. The company listed on Indian stock exchanges in July 2025, outlining plans to diversify its offerings and expand into new destinations. ## Leadership and Strategic Vision Inova’s founder, Eric Wijmenga, will join Crizac as regional director for the UK and Europe, overseeing recruitment strategy, university partnerships, and business development. With over 25 years of experience in higher education, Wijmenga expressed enthusiasm about the global platform and technology that Crizac provides to support more students and institutions in Mexico and Europe. Wijmenga stated, "We share a common commitment to innovation, quality partnerships, and student success. I’m excited about the opportunities this partnership will create for universities, recruitment partners, and students." The acquisition follows Crizac’s purchase of a 37.41% stake in Indian education finance and visa-preparation company ForeignAdmits in June this year, further solidifying its position in the global education market.
