Money: Manifest Global expands Europe offering with EduGo Abroad acquisition

Manifest Global has acquired EduGo Abroad, a company that has developed partnerships with over 280 universities and colleges across 18 European countries. The acquisition adds a dedicated Europe corridor to Manifest's platform, expanding its reach among students, universities, and recruitment partners globally, with EduGo Abroad having supported almost 10,000 students to date.

According to Rohan Pasari, Manifest's CEO, the top countries that EduGo serves are France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Ireland, which he describes as a genuinely diversified European footprint. Pasari told reporters that EduGo is growing rapidly, placing around 1,000 students per year, and that this growth tracks Europe's shift from an alternative destination to a first choice for Indian students.

Expansion of Europe Offering

The acquisition comes at a time when Europe is increasingly moving from an alternative study destination to a first-choice corridor for internationally mobile students. With active policy support for student mobility across the region, Europe has become one of the world's most connected higher education markets. Through the acquisition, students using Manifest's platforms will be able to consider European study destinations alongside the other markets served by the group.

Benefits for University Partners

EduGo's university partners will also gain access to Manifest's international student network and its technology for student recruitment and enrolment. Chintan Modi, managing director of EduGo Abroad, said the acquisition would give the company's partners access to a wider range of destinations and Manifest's technology. The company's partners will get more destinations and Manifest's transformative AI technology, while its universities will get access to students well beyond India.

Growth and Strategy

The acquisition forms part of Manifest's wider strategy of bringing together regional education specialists and technology to support international student mobility. Pasari told The PIE that Manifest was attracted to EduGo due to the expertise demonstrated by the Modi brothers, who backed Europe as a serious destination years before the rest of the market moved there. The company was also impressed by the quality of the operators, with Pasari stating that this is a business built on trust with students and partners, and that is genuinely hard to replicate.

Manifest describes itself as building an AI platform for global human capital mobility, spanning student recruitment, talent development, and cross-border movement. The group said more than 80,000 students who choose to study outside their home country each year use platforms across its portfolio, while its university network spans more than 150 countries. The acquisition of EduGo Abroad will further expand Manifest's reach and capabilities in the European market, with the company's technology and expertise set to benefit students, universities, and recruitment partners across the region.
